Design and Display

Infinix Hot 8 features a glasslike material rear build which has a single colour but varing light intensity. The front is made of glass and by the side of the screen is the power and volume button.

Embedded on the rear is a fingerprint sensor and similar to tecno spark 4, has a vertical arrangement of the triple rear camera.

Infinix Hot 8 design

The screen is a big one, having a tear drop HD PLUS display of 6.6 inches at an immersive resolution of 720×1600 pixels and pixel density of 268ppi. Hot 8 has display brightness of 450 nit and an aspect ratio of 20:9.

Infinix Hot 8 comes with a triple rear camera just like the Tecno spark 4 of 13 Megapixels, but the fact is people don’t understand why it’s 3 or even the function of this triple camera, and that’s why am going to explain it.

The triple rear camera consist of the low light sensor that turns on LED Flash automatically when brightness falls below a certain level, the main camera i.e 13 MP  which performs the function of a camera, while the third lens is a depth vision camera of 2 MP; this is the camera that makes bokeh effect possible.

Hot 8 Rear camera rides along with some amazing and attractive features such as; quad LED Flash, infused new AI software technology; enhances the overall beauty of the resultant images, enhanced PDAF and also a wide aperture size of f/1.8 that ensures quality brightness for those images.

While on the front in the tear drop topnotch area is sitted an 8 Megapixels AI selfie camera that is equipped with a LED Flash and features such as Ai beauty, bokeh, stickers and lots more

Hardware and Processor

Beneath the hood is a Mediatek MT6761 Helio A22 (12 nm) chipset and a Quad-core CPU clocked at a frequency of 2.0 GHz sustained by 2 GB of RAM and a massive storage of 32 GB which could be further expanded via Micro SD to 128 GB; you’ve got those large files covered.

This man here runs on ANDROID™ 9 PIE and has 4G network connectivity.

Infinix Hot 8 comes with a long lasting battery of 5,000 mAh that promises to last for 4 days depending on how you use it, but I run this blog with hot 8, so I ensure that I charge it once everyday.
