Infinix Note 7 Review

Display

Infinix note 7 features a 6.95 inches, punch hole, infinity-0 display that views at resolution of 720 x 1680 pixels, with brightness reachhing up to 480 nits and has a pixel size of 258. Inorder to make navigating easier, the display is equipped with Intuitive gesture navigation which acts spontaneously.

Design

The company seems to have worked really hard on the design front for the Infinix Note 7. It is a good looking smartphone with all the bells and whistles of a decent aesthetics. In fact, it is the most premium-looking handset ever launched by the company in Nigeria. The gem-cut textured design at the back panel looks very attractive. It has a sturdy body along with curved edges.

Apart from the new design, the company has changed the placement of the fingerprint sensor, power button, and the volume rockers as all you’ll find all on the right smartphone, while the SIM card tray is placed at the left side of the handset. Besides, the smartphone supports a circular camera at the back.

On the other hand, the 3.5 mm audio jack, speaker grille, and the micro USB port are at the bottom. Overall, the Infinix Note 7 looks quite good in the hand but you cannot operate it with a single hand due to its big size and weight. In addition, the back panel attracts fingerprint smudges, so we suggest you to use this smartphone with a back cover.

More display is what note 7 offers due to the absent or narrow bezels, having a screen to body ratio of 91% and aspect ratio of 20.5:9.

Looking at the rear of the you’ll discover a quad camera embedded on the rear and is covered or protected by a circular shaped transparent Corning gorilla glass (to ensure that the camera nor the transparent glass is neither affected whenever the phone falls to the ground), hereby giving Infinix note 7 a classic look.

The quad rear camera consist of 4 sensors or lens and they include;

1.) Main camera of 48 MP that performs the major functions of a camera, having a wide aperture size of f1.8 thereby making it sensitive to light.

3.) Depth vision camera of 2 MP, with aperture size of f/2.4. Without this forget bokeh effects.

4.) Low light sensor; This has two similar functions and they are;

I.) Automatically turns on LED Flash when brightness falls below certain level.

Power supply

Note 7 is backed by a 5,000mAh battery that, the company claims, can sustain a video playback of 20 hours, up to 24 hours of music playback, 16 hours of web surfing, 35 hours of 4G talk-time, and 50 days of standby time. The phone comes with an 18W Super Charger that can get it 100% juice in just two hours.

All things considered, we were pretty impressed by the Note 7. It certainly delivers in everything the company has promised. The phone has a sleek body, big display, high-end processing power. reasonably good camera performance and battery life with fast charging. Certainly a hot pick in the mid-range segment.

Infinix Note 7 Lite REVIEW

Infinix Note 7 Lite Review;

Design and Display

Unlike note 7 that has a screen size of 6.95 inches, the note 7 lite features a 6.6 inches HD+, punch hole, infinity-O display that views at resolution of 720 x 1640 pixels, having an aspect ratio of 20:9 and a screen to body ratio of 90.5 %.

Note 7 lite offers an immersive display as the bezels appear slim or almost absent.

Looking at the back you’ll notice that there’s no fingerprints scanner, why, it’s because Infinix mobility decided to change position, as the fingerprint scanner was moved to the side of the phone. This smartphone comes in three colours and depending on your taste they include green, purple and black.

Infinix Note 7 Lite Camera

Instead of a square shaped arrangement of its quad rear camera; which is protected by a Corning gorilla like the note sevens, you’ll discover a quad rear camera having a vertical arrangement and by the side is a quad flash also having a vertical arrangement.

The Quad rear camera consist of

1.) 48 MP main camera; performs all the functions of a camera.

2.) 2 MP Macro Camera; Macro vision.

3.) 2 MP depth vision Camera; For bokeh effects.

4.) Lowlight sensor that has two specific functions;
I.) It increases photo brightness when under lowlight, without turning on the LED Flash.

II.) It automatically turns on the LED Flash when brightness falls below a certain level.

On the front, decorated with the punch hole is a 16 Megapixels selfie camera that is light sensitive due to the wide aperture, having a size of f2.4.

Here are some cool features of the note 7 lite camera; Scene detection, HDR, face recognition, AI beauty mode e.t.c.

Infinix Note 7 lite Sensors and Connectivity

The Note 7 Lite phone has a fingerprint scanner. This sensor identifies and authenticates the fingerprints of an individual in order to grant or deny access to a smartphone. This Infinix phone comes with proximity sensor. This proximity sensor detects how close the phone is to an outside object, such as your ear. The Dual SIM capability of Infinix Note 7 Lite phone is ideal for businesses wishing to provide staff with a mobile device that can offer separate numbers and bills for both personal and business use.
