The Note 8 has been announced and has currently started to sell in Africa. It comes with features slightly better than the note 7. Which means that there’s no need upgrading it, unless you’re interested in the 62 MP camera of the note 8.

- Design and Display
The rear design looks just like that of Samsung Galaxy S20. And features a polycarbonate build that has glossy blend of colours which attracts fingerprint smudges.
Beneath is the USB type C port, Earpiece port and it speaker. Looking at the top, you’ll find nothing.
By the side of Infinix Note 8 is a classic volume button, having the power button immediately after it.
- Fingerprint Scanner and face unlock feature
The power button by the side of Infinix Note 8 doubles up to be the side fingerprint scanner. Which unlocks the Smartphone very fast.
However the face unlock feature is super cool as it unlocks the Infinix note 8 under any lighting condition. Even in the pitch darkness. But here’s something that makes me criticize it. Unlocks mere scanning the side of your face.
on the front, there is something worth mentioning that we usually don’t pay any attention to since it, literally, is on the margins of the device and mostly not worth a second look or even a mention as it just does the one thing it’s supposed to do: connect you with your callers. The earpiece on the Infinix Note 8 also doubles up as the missing piece in the stereo speaker setup on the device. It combines with the bottom-firing speaker to provide the best sound.
- Infinity O Display
A 6.95 inches Dual punch hole HD plus display is what we have here. The bezels appear to be wider than that of Infinix note 7.
Unlike zero 8 that comes with a refresh rate of 90 Hz, this guy note retains the same as it predescessor. which is 60 Hz refresh rate.

- 64 Megapixels Main Rear Camera
On the rear of Infinix note 8 is arranged a Quad rear camera, supported by Quad Flash and protected by a Corning gorilla glass.
The essence of this protection is because, it camera and body frame are not sitted on the same level. Therefore, inorder for the camera not to be affected, if peradventure Infinix note 8 falls to the ground.
So, the 64 MP camera, being the main, ensures clarity of images. Not just that, but has an ultra night mode Version 2 feature. This functions to brighten images when under lowlight conditions and combined with clarity, makes it amazing.
- Three other rear camera lens
Well this comprises of the depth vision lens of 2 Megapixels, Macro also 2 Megapixels and the third lens which is also 2 Megapixels.
- Dual Front Camera
Portrait camera combined with a 16 Megapixels lens makes up the dual front camera, which is supported by A LED Flash.
As for the portrait lens, it blurs out the unimportant objects, leaving only the focus object clear. While the main 16 MP front camera provides clarity of images and videos.
IMages shot with this camera lens appear more natural than that of Infinix Note 7.
- Processor
We see though not really but a slight upgrade to that of it predescessor. As we find a Mediatek Helio G80 (12 nm) Octa CPU, clocked at speed of 2.0GHz.
This makes the smartphones very fast, and so play whatever games you want, though exclude fortnite. Why? The comment box below this post in dieing to receive that question.
- Memory
Good storage has never been a problem for Infinixmobility apart from the smart 3.
A 6GB RAM and large storage of 128GB puts your mind at ease. As you can never be conscious of how much phone storage has been occupied.
- No Stylus Pen
With the Infinix Note 8 not bringing along a stylus like some previous generations of the Infinix Note have, and its overall excellence as an “all round phone”, it is very easy to forget the legacy it carries with it: it is still a “Note”. The only evidence beyond the name that that is still the case? A note-taking app that you are unlikely to ditch your current one for but which we don’t usually see on Infinix devices in other lineups so it is worth pointing out.

- Network and Operating System
4G LTE not 5G is what ships with the Infinix note 8 and runs on an Os of Android 10 slapped with Xos 7.1 on top.
- Battery
5200 mAh non-Removable Li-Po battery which could go for three days with no need to charge. Also it possesses a power marathon technology that extends battery life.

Infinix Note 8i Full Specifications
Infinix Note 8i has similar features to that of note 8, so I see no need writing it review. But let have this.
Instead of the normal 6.95 inches, Infinix Note 8i being a torn down version, comes with 6.78 inches IPSLCD display.
Also we all know of the other having A 62 Megapixels main camera. But as for the note 8i, that’s not the case. You get a 48 Megapixels shooter, accompanied by three other lens.
This includes the depth of 2MP, macro also 2MP and and the fourth lens which is also 2MP.
While talking about note 8i front camera, you get 8 MP. Unlike the other where you’ll find 16 MP.
As for the other features, they are no different from that of Infinix note 8 Except for memory.
The Infinix note 8i has two variants, the 4GB and 6GB variants.
