iPhone 8 Review; Design and Display

In an effort to improve sturdiness, the phone’s chassis as been re-engineered, with an aluminium alloy casing, and a glass outer that’s reinforced by steel.

Camera

The iPhone 8 has a 12-megapixel main camera with an f/1.8 aperture, optical image stabilization, and HDR. It’s designed to be easy to use; just point and shoot and more often than not, you’ll get a pleasing photo. IPhone 8 lacks the dual-camera set-up that you’ll find in the iPhone 8 Plus and iPhone X.

There’s a 7-megapixel front-facing camera with an f/2.2 aperture to round things out and it will serve just fine for FaceTime calls and selfies.

Hardware and Processor

Apple says the new Bionic A11 processor included in both the iPhone 8 is the fastest ever on a smartphone.
