Design and Display
The Galaxy S9 Plus is Samsung’s latest big-screened flagship. It looks similar to the Korean firm’s last Android beauty, with an edge-to-edge 6.2in QHD+ display on the front.
The S9 Plus’ display reached a perfect Infinity:1 contrast ratio, with an sRGB colour gamut coverage of 98% and a Delta E of 1.5, making for a screen that is capable of producing accurate, vibrant colours across the entire palette.
It also features infinite display which gives you a never ending display, bezel-less, full-frontal glass, edge-to-edge screen.

Super slow motion
Furthermore, the S9 can now match Sony’s flagship Xperia phones and shoot super slow motion video at a whopping 960fps. 
That means 0.2 seconds in real life becomes six seconds of video and Samsung has some clever tech to make it easier to make great slow motion videos.
Bixby vision
We’re still not totally convinced by Bixby but the camera part, Bixby Vision, has been improved and is quickly accessible from the camera app.
It can now do live translation, better place recognition, and more food features such as calories and food recipes. The latter will be market-dependent.
Always-On Display
The S9 plus display is now always-on, allowing you to quickly check things like the time, date and battery life without unlocking the device. Always-on mode is designed to drain just 1 percent of the battery per hour, so it doesn’t drain the Active’s already-epic battery life.
Hardware and processor
Samsung’s own octa-core 2.7GHz Exynos 9810 processor, while those in other territories get Qualcomm’s similarly capable Snapdragon 845. There’s also 4GB of RAM for multitasking and 128GB of onboard storage, which is expandable up to 400GB via microSD.
And as for performance, well, it’s no surprise that the Galaxy S9 Plus is a seriously speedy smartphone. Running the Geekbench 4 multi- and single-core tests, Samsung’s flagship reached 8,848 and 3,629 respectively
It alsofeatures aSuper Slow-motion which only supports HD resolution. Limited to 20 shots per video with approximately 0.2 seconds of recording and 6 seconds of playback for each shot.
Ar emoji
One of Samsung’s messages with the new Galaxy S9 is that it’s “Built for the Way We Communicate Today.” And while that’s a laudable goal, one of the key features behind that message — AR Emoji — doesn’t feel like it connects with the way anyone communicates now, or will want to in the future.
